Learn love from the deep roots of the tree, not from each cut you inflict on me.
Learn love from the colors in my leaves,
not from the dried branches that fall off me.
Shelter, sunlight, shade, and air
what more could I be?
I am what you’ve made me,
just another place for vandalizing.
